Dr. Fitzgerald serves as the Editor-in-Chief for the American Psychological Association (APA) journal, Translational Issues in Psychological Science. This journal is unique in the APA catalogue as it’s central mission is to become a home for training graduate students and early career professionals in the publishing and editorial world.
Multicultural Awareness and Professional Integration Program (MAPIP)
Dr. Fitzgerald is a MAPIP mentor in the Department of Psychology at Marquette University. This program is for Clinical Psychology doctoral students to foster independent and reflective work on issues of diversity, inclusion, equity, and justice.
Graduate Women in Science (GWIS)
Dr. Fitzgerald is the Faculty Sponsor and National Liaison for the Milwaukee Chapter of the Graduate Women in Science (GWIS) national organization. GWIS advocates for and supports women scientists in academia.
Masters in Applied Psychology Data Analytics (APDA)
Dr. Fitzgerald is the Director of the Master’s in Applied Psychology Data Analytics (APDA) program at Marquette University. The APDA program trains graduate students in applying their psychology degree to sectors outside the clinical and academic sectors.
